Product Information
A stunning painting of Nino Vaccarella & Enrico Pinto dominating the Rally di Jolly Hotels in May 1966, piloting their Autodelta prepared Alfa Romeo 1600 GTA Corsa (AR613102). Seen here on the infamous Sicilian mountain roads of the Targa Florio, en route to overall victory by over 8 minutes. As a team, Autodelta filled the first 8 positions, with the new specification GTA Corsas taking a clean sweep of the first 5 places. The first non-Autodelta car was the Ferrari 250LM of Nicodemi & Pianta.
This gruelling 6 day event, comprising hill climbs and circuit races, ran almost the entire length of Italy. Starting in Palermo in Sicily, the cars navigated the Targa Florio route before heading up through the mainland via the Autodromo di Vallelunga near Rome before taking the chequered flag in Trieste on the Adriatic coast.
A limited edition run of 450 individually numbered and signed pieces available as a high quality Giclee print. Two sizes available:
66cm x 50cm (medium)
86cm x 65cm (large)
Specific serial numbers (to match a GTA chassis number) can be special ordered. 001-150 are all large size prints.
