Total mechanical rebuild and detail restoration

Having previously restored 2 car for our long standing customer, he decided that he wanted to find a TZ to add to his collection. We helped him source a suitable car in the UK and transported to Alfaholics.

PHILOSOPHY

The goal was to have the car back to its original factory specification but with performance tuned mechanical setup to make the car suitable for both light historic competition use as well as displaying at Concours events.

Engine

Matching numbers engine rebuilt and fitted with steel crank, forged rods & pistons to uprate performance whilst ensuring maximum durability for performance use

Mechanically Rebuilt

We stripped all the mechanical components off the chassis, stripped down the brakes, suspension and the steering to carefully inspect, crack test and rebuild the original parts to as new condition.

Refinishing

Originally plated parts that had since been chromed or painted, were sent away for correct factory plating finish to be applied and major suspension members were sent for powder coating before being reassembled.
