Philosophy
Our customer shipped their restored 2000 Spider USA to Alfaholics in order for us to upgrade to R specifications, without doing a body restoration
We dissassembled the car back to a painted bodyshell, repainted the engine bay and reassembled the full car to R-specifications including total Alfaholics-R spec rewire, new light units and chrome body fitting parts.
Keeping factory original appearance results in a real ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’
220 BHP 2100cc Nord engine
Steel long stroke crank, forged pistons, rifle drilled cams, race valve gear. 45mm throttle bodies and hidden Motec EFI result in perfect road driving manners with over 100BHP per litre output.
Luxury Interior
Original interior stripped back and fully retrimmed using Alfaholics-R leather, alcantara and wool carpets. Retaining factory original armrests, seats and general layout kept the appearance factory correct and subtle. Hidden bluetooth audio system and USB charging complete the 21st century update.
Fully trimmed boot for luggage
Boot area fully insulated, boarded and trimmed in Wilton wool carpets to create a proper luggage space for touring use.
