Axle Build Services
Alfaholics offer full built axles for your road or competition car. With our guidance, you can chose the final drive ratio of your choice and have it built up into an axle casing using our competition limited slip differential unit (in either track day or race setting) with all brand new bearings, carefully shimmed and ready to fit into your car.
Further enhancements
We can significantly reduce the weight of the rear axle unit by integrating our titanium axle tubes, magnesium centre casing and rifle drilled halfshafts. Diff cooling can be improved with our billet aluminium diff sump and bearing wear can be reduced with our race pinion bearing conversion.

Traditionally, the most significant drawback to live axle cars is having a lot of unsprung weight and having the rear tyres stuck at zero camber and toe. This product has been designed to address all these issues to dramatically improve handling & grip whilst retaining the wonderful live axle character of 105/115 series cars.
Rifle Drilled Halfshaft
Billet rifled drilled lightweight, heavy duty halfshafts, as fitted to all Alfaholics-R builds. These 2 piece improved design shafts feature built in wheel bearing shrink rings, making the bearing location much stronger and resulting in far simpler wheel bearing changes than ever possible with standard Alfa shafts.
The end flange is scalloped and the shaft is rifle drilled, reducing weight.
Alfaholics-R Aluminium Axle Oil Sump
CNC machined billet aluminium differential sump for 105 / 115 axle case with increase oil capacity and cooling fin surface area to reduce axle oil temperature.
High horsepower 105s start to suffer from excessively high differential oil temperatures under hard use, this can cause excessive axle noise and premature CWP wear.
Designed the differential sump to carry 23% additional oil capacity and redesigned it with a combination of both larger & additional lateral cooling fins (in a similar design to a GTA engine lower sump) to dramatically increase the surface area for airflow and therefore significantly increase cooling efficiency of the sump.
ALfaholics Limited Slip Differential
As fitted to all Alfaholics-R fast road builds and all Alfaholics full race cars. Unique design exclusive to Alfaholics diffs, developed in house to optimise torque transfer and traction under power whilst also optimising vehicle handling balance both on and off power.
The unique layout of roll centre heights and weight distribution of a 105/115 series Alfa results in unique torque transfer demands on LSD units unseen in most other cars. This has resulted in Alfaholics developing a unique internal LSD design and setup to ensure optimum vehicle performance at all times.
